In this book, while introducing the basic requirements for the analysis of failure and inefficiency of metal materials and parts, various factors of their occurrence are explained by using industrial examples, presenting various images and the results of investigations carried out by the author.
Theoretical content has been avoided as much as possible, and various mechanisms of inefficiency and failure of metal materials and parts have been explained by applying the results of tests and analyzes performed on automotive materials and parts.

This book examines the fracture behavior as the most important issue in the structural application of brittle ceramics.
